Terms of Service

Draft version — August 2026. Not yet reviewed by legal counsel.

This is a working draft, not a final legal document. It's written to be honest about how Qvilio works today, and will be reviewed by a lawyer before Qvilio is generally available. Questions: hello@qvilio.ai.

1. Acceptance of terms

By signing up for or using Qvilio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using Qvilio on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. The service

Qvilio reads a business's website and public content to build an AI chat agent that answers that business's customers, can capture orders and bookings, and escalates unanswered questions by email. Qvilio is currently in early access and features, availability, and pricing may change as the product develops.

3. Accounts & billing

Qvilio's standard plan is billed at a flat monthly rate (currently $499/month, or the equivalent shown in your local currency) with no per-conversation or per-resolution charges, billed monthly, cancelable at any time. Multi-location and custom-integration plans are billed under a separate agreement priced for your specific setup. We reserve reasonable-use protections to prevent abusive or fraudulent use of the "unlimited conversations" allowance — see our FAQ for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Qvilio to: violate any law; deploy the agent on a website engaged in illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activity; attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse the underlying AI models; or knowingly feed the agent false information intended to mislead your customers. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

5. AI-generated answers

Qvilio is designed to answer only from the content you provide and to say when it doesn't know something rather than guess — but like any AI system, it can still make mistakes. You're responsible for reviewing the content Qvilio is trained on and for how your business relies on its answers, particularly for anything involving pricing, availability, medical, legal, or safety-related information. Qvilio is not a substitute for professional advice in regulated industries.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your website content and any material you provide to Qvilio. You grant us a license to use that content solely to build and operate your agent. Qvilio retains ownership of the underlying platform, software, and technology.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time; your agent will stop responding at the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or for non-payment, with notice where practical.

8. Warranty disclaimer

Qvilio is provided "as is." During early access in particular, the service may change, contain bugs, or experience downtime. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI-generated answers will always be accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qvilio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated answers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law

[Placeholder — governing jurisdiction to be finalized once Qvilio's company registration is complete.]

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Qvilio evolves. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify active customers of material changes.
